56040 will remain at Shackerstone for another few days before moving on the 13th September.

The delay will mean Oystermouth will leave the Battlefield Line less than a week before the second Clagging Cup takes place during the lines Autumn Gala on the 18th / 19th September.

56086 is now officially booked to work the first train each day, and If I was a betting man, which I’m not, I’d have a fiver on 086 to take the clagging honours on Saturday evening.
