Celebrating 50 years of the 56 in style
We would like to thank the ELR for hosting this wonderful Gala, without them these last 3 days wouldn’t have been possible. We also want to thank everyone who turned up, said hello, purchased anything from the stall or joined up. Without you guys and your super support we wouldn’t be able to keep this loco running and a special thank you to Cavalex, who joined us for the gala in conjunction with their newest model of the one and only 56006
I am pleased to report that we had a very successful gala with 38 rostered turns, (25 of those under power) and the loco ran flawlessly on all those as well as sales stand who took over £1,750.00 over the 3 days including 2 raffles where Cavalex donated 2 of there newest models as prizes. Congrats to the winners.
Next up is the 4 FXP’s which are all booked up for this year, (More to come next year), which then will mark the final running of 56006 for this year.
Next year is celebrating 50 years of 56006 so please keep your eyes peeled for new info regarding what we have planned for next year.
