We are now a month away from our Autumn Diesel Gala and Beer & Cider Festival. The event will see three days of intensive diesel running, showcasing our home fleet, joined by visiting Class 58 58023. The weekend is also our first Beer & Cider Festival in partnership with CAMRA, which will be centred around the Bury Transport Museum and will feature a range of regional beverages from Lancashire and Yorkshire.

- Brake van rides on our heritage goods train on Saturday between Bury and Ramsbottom *
- Visiting Class 58 58023 ‘Leicester Depot’ visiting courtesy of Edward Stevenson
- Celebrating 50 years of The Class 56 Group’s 56006
- Return to traffic of Class 37 37109 and Class 50 50015 Valiant (subject to completion of repairs)
- Relaunch of Class Forty Preservation Society’s Class 40 40106 Atlantic Conveyor following contract bodywork and repaint

⏰ Beer & Cider Festival Doors open 11am – 10pm Friday and Saturday, 11am – 5pm Sunday.
🍺 Glasses are included in the entry price, CAMRA members will be charged £1 for a glass on their free entry.
